MMIW Participant Evaluation
July. I should have asked Darren to do his montage or leave the project. And asked Victoria to allow us to use her photograph or leave the project.
These acts of cowardice widen into — no respect for me. Which in turn produces 22.09.25 Changing the Narrative.

They also drown our 14.11.25 evaluation. Victoria doesn’t attend — I have re-traumatised her into an angry black woman. Darren does but can only see — I am the perpetrator and Victoria is my victim. We do not hear any of participant Adam, Ciaron, Elly, or photographer Sol's experiences. My cowardice has led Darren and Victoria to believe they are special.
Allowing 90 days for our wounds to scab, I will do one-to-one sessions to gage the other participants’ changes.
I have learned that discipline will allow me to continue experimenting with blurring the facilitator/participant boundaries — removing no man’s land — bleed and bandage together — care for each other collectively.
Including HOME producer Clarissa. It is sad when she speaks easily to Sol, but semi-ignores me, while sanctioning my conversation with Tech Kieran to secure the mind-maps are stored properly. I too need to find a replacement for my angry mixed-race woman when I am trying to get a person in power to listen to me. I think this is also about, early on, bravely identifying needs, and boundaries to safeguard them.
Mine/Darren/Victoria’s actions bring our oversight to light, enhancing our process.
