What I Learn 8-Station Mind-Mapping Slinky Dog

Draw a square. Overlay it with a diamond.

Station Numbers.

Close up.

Draw the Station Symbols.

Each station needs interpretation like tarot cards. Astrology.  A reading.  A divination.

  1. The Fallen Angel is the protagonist. The protagonist must have a problem. How the fuck do I write this blog? Where do I start? Will anyone want to read it? Especially as there is so much I want to say.

  2. Shading. Colour wash. Imagine you are doing a painting. You would give your canvas a colourwash. It’s the most basic background. Even if there is no colour it is the pen or ink shading that makes your images stick out.

  3. Mask. Whatever lands here is the source of a secret. Something is hidden here. Hence the mask.

  4. Cycles. like the moon. Keeps recurring. Or should recur. Like seasons. Emblems.

  5. Change. Enough is enough. Things have to change.

  6. Climate. The symbol image is a sphere. The world. Crossed by 3 lines. Capricorn, the Equator and Cancer. It radiates oxygen. Microbes, tiny things, create this stratosphere. Or there is no life. This symbol is alive and able to house life.

  7. Ghost. There may be several. Maybe one. You think you are doing fine in your project, life, conversation, suddenly something you don’t want to talk about brings you great shame, or pain. This is what you must talk about. This is where your release is.

  8. Sword. Each of these steps are a pilgrimage to the oracle of you. Where you pull the sword from the stone. The sword is forged by the journey you live.

At the corresponding station I draw the images that captures:

1.     21.03.25

I end a working relationship in a calm manner.

2.     23.03.25. Angel.

I am going to write my book 12-words.

3.      06.04.25. A Pilgrimage to the Oracle of You.

I realise my book is 3 techniques I have devised. 4-dimensions, 8-stations, and 12-words.

4.     13.04.25. 4-dimensions 8-stations 12-words.

I buy Jane Friedman’s The Business of Writing.

5.     20.04.25. How to Build a Platform When You're a Closet Introvert.

I have loads of contacts and relationships on my genuine existing platform of 30 years.

6.     27.04.25. Things That Stop You Walking into Your Madness

A creative and cultural meeting teaches me my book is called Walk into Your Madness. By madness I mean your authentic artistic self. Number one culprit is a Poverty Mindset.

7.     04.05.25. Target Audience

Non-White Artists. Closet Artists. Shadow Artists. Poverty Crippled Artists (of any colour). Like me, and the creative and cultural practitioners in that meeting who populate other institutions.

8.     11.05.25. Practising How to Write My Biog

Credentials. Self-taught. Studying the creation of the universe, mind-mapping and associative writing over 23 years. Evolving into 4-dimensions, 8-stations and 12-words. Polished in 2024 during a yearlong collaboration with astrophysicist Soheb Mandhai.

What I learned doing the mind-map.

At 3, hidden, masked, the 4-dimensions, 8-stations, 12 words are stacking up like a Mayan pyramid. I instinctively draw 23 stars above it. 12 + 8 + 4 is 24. The 23 years again. Plus, the year I spend with the astrophysicist starring at the stars through his knowledge.

At 7, ghosts, diagonally opposite station 3, are standing stones. They make me think of the alignment between stars 9 and 10. It is lighting me cutting myself off from the rude person in station 1. And leading to an empty space on my platform. But what if the alignment is not to the Mayan pyramid at 3, but to the standing stones at 7. This hits the stars between 8 and 9 if I had numbered them from left to right. As it stands right to left, the alignment is between stars 15 and 16.

As the standing stones are in 7, ghosts, it is a graveyard. Each has money sculpted on it.

I am leading creative and cultural practitioners away from the imposed worship of money to the alignment of the stars. Because I also understand in 7 that I have always been talking to creative and cultural practitioners. Without them I can’t exclusively be an artist. They are artists too. Painting over their vibrant madness with magnolia emails.  Trained not to walk into their madness. Walk into it. Our joint creativity should not be limited by trends. But be a similar insanity to a firewood torch lifted to the outline of lions scored and scored again to capture a pride on the move. Or where those cave artists just following trends? It’s not impossible. At the end of the day what we want are resources. To stay alive. Even a midsummer star alignment originates with the seasons. Seasons predict harvests and herds. Food. They must have had some system and someone willing to man getting people to come. Had they joined, though, to be a high priest? Or to show their new technique that could etch ochre fur as if moving on a lion's shoulder bone.
